My story

Koda is a 5-year-old, 34 lb., Mini Australian Shepherd who was surrendered to Misty Eyes due to changes in the owner's life. He is a pure-bred Aussie Shepherd whose father was a Toy Australian Shepherd, and mother was a Miniature Australian Shepherd. Koda is shy and wary of strangers at first, but once he feels comfortable, is a friendly, loving, playful boy. He does have the typical herding dog instincts and behaviors. Koda is crate trained and is generally a well-behaved. He needs continued work on his leash-walking (pulling), and will be a great companion walking mate. $200 adoption fee for adult dogs; $225 adoption fee for puppies; $150 adoption fee for senior/special needs dogs. Cats are $100.00 for kittens and $65.00 for adults. All pets are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. Application process.

All animals live in foster homes, and we have some of our animals on site on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-1pm

We are dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and cats in the communities that we serve by providing compassionate shelter, care and adoption services for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats.

It is the mission of our Learning Center to create a better community by helping pets and educating people. We will provide a variety of courses at our facility as well as offer programs at off-site community locations.
