Sigil is dressed for a party wherever he goes, sporting his handsome tuxedo marking with white gloves. He has a slight divot in his left ear that adds some extra character. Sigil is defiantly one of the more extraverted personalities we have fostered- He talks to us frequently to let us know he is awake, he needs pets, he wants a lap to sit in, he has lost his toy under the desk, or that his food dish needs some attention. He will follow me around and is quite often completely underfoot because he just wants to hang out with you. He loves to assist when you sweep the floor, and by assist I mean he attacks the deadly broom and subdues it so that the kingdom will be safe. He is a sweet boy who loves to cuddles and to sit in your lap with LOUD happy purrs to go around. Did I mention that he just always wants to hang out with you?
Sigil loves playing in boxes and will chase just about any toy, but seems to have a special liking for the little plastic springs. Sigil has been largely hand raised and will need an indoor only home.

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
