I rescued Salem from a shelter where she was going to be euthanized because she couldn’t lose weight. She did great on her diet until July 2024 she got sick and stopped eating. The vet told me she had developed fatty liver disease and that she has dental issues from not being able to eat dry food for months. She made a small step in her recovery but still is unable to eat on her own due to tooth pain. I don’t have the money needed for her dental procedures anymore and would love to find a home for her that has the time and money to give her the happy life she deserves.
