Midge is a gentle four-month-old kitten with rich black fur, a sturdy and strong body, and bright eyes. She will quickly respond to soft voices and smooth movements by gladly flopping over to present her belly, which is soft and beguilingly splattered with white, just waiting to be petted. These pets will then turn on her strong and soothing purr machine full force. She has yet to walk away from the belly-pets, so further testing is needed to determine just how long she’ll last before she tires of it!
When hands are needed for things other than petting Midge’s belly, she happily trots off to frolic with her sister, Minx. She loves looking out windows and keeping on eye on the outside goings-ons, socializing and hanging with the resident cats who come in several ages, personalities, and sizes, and playing with her current favorite, the fishing pole. Midge is a fastidious litterbox user, and will make sure things are covered up so thoroughly you may not know she had been around other than the telltale hill with faint pawprints leading away. She is tolerant of nail-clipping, especially if her belly is attended to with a few pets during the process, and of course many cuddles and pets afterwards.
Midge loves to hang out, play, and cuddle with her sister Minx, and these two would be a fun, cozy, and delightful addition to a quieter household. Both gals are very open to and friendly with other cats, and if not adopted together, would need at least one friendly feline companion who was ready for a playmate and cuddle buddy. Midge is a warm little rumble machine who will bring much joy to a lucky home.
Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@gmail.com or call (630) 881-7459 for more information
