My name is Ruby!

Ruby is a 1 1/2 year old red fox lab. She’s full of energy and personality, and would do well with an active owner. She could still use some leash training, but she knows some basic obedience and is crate trained. She is used to spending a lot of time outdoors when the weather is nice.

Her ideal home would have a large securely fenced yard, an owner with time and patience for training, and some sort of structured outlet for her energy. She deserves a home filled with love for her where she can get more individual attention.

She is known to eat things she shouldn’t so crating and keeping things off the floor is a priority. She had abdominal surgery in July 2024 to remove a blockage - she had eaten a wool sock and it became stuck. Her recovery went very well and she has no lasting issues.
