My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lanah! This sweet and affectionate girl is eager to find a loving forever home where she can share her playful vibes and gentle heart.
Lanah greets her shelter pals with happy toe taps and tail wags, showing her excitement to see her human friends. She's easy to leash and comes right out of her kennel, ready for adventure.
Lanah loves exploring outside, especially if there are hidden treats! She enjoys affection, resting her head in your lap and leaning in hard for pets- soaking up every bit of love she can get.
She's playful with squeaky toys and will chase after them with adorable enthusiasm, though she's just as happy trading them for treats.
While she's working on her treat-taking skills (she can be a bit snatchy!), Lanah is an eager learner. She'll need a patient bestie who can toss treats or use an open palm until she masters her manners.
This sweet, food-motivated girl has a big heart and plenty of love to give.

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Lanah at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering her.

Behavior notes:
11/9 per volunteer- Lanah is a sweet, giant angel. She keeps her tail wagging and loves to snuffle along. She'll come and sit as called and can get a little eager for treats so feed her with an open palm. She's strong and independent on walks but if you talk to her and tell her where to go, she listens. She ran into some small children coming back from her time outside and she gave them gentle sniffs and then moved along. Seems like a very lovable puppers.

11/7/24 Per volunteer: Lanah is all legs and cuteness! Such a sweet girl! She was easy to leash and walk outside. For her size there was no issues walking her on a leash - although she is strong when she wants to get towards something - like really good sniffs or dog buddies. Outside she was very curious about sniffing around the yard, but would take treats for me and sit nicely for them. She seems patient and receptive to training. She was interested in other dogs when they walked by but we didn't meet any buddies tonight.
