My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Gilmore may be over 10 years old, blind, and hard of hearing, but don’t let that fool you—this girl is full of life and personality! Despite her age, she has a young spirit, loves her toys (the tougher, the better!), and will happily entertain herself and her people with her playful energy.

Here’s what you’ll love about Gilly:

-Loyal Companion – Gilmore has a special way of sniffing her way over to wherever you are. She’s a total people dog and will come to snuggle up by your feet, making her the perfect co-worker and cuddle buddy.

-Potty Trained – She quickly learned her fosters routine and hasn’t had any accidents since her initial adjustment. She’s happy to go outside on a regular schedule and can even be left alone for up to 7 hours without any issues.

-Playful Spirit – Despite being blind, Gilly still LOVES to play with her toys, especially tough rubber ones she can’t destroy. She’s a big fan of fun and games!

-Dog Friendly – Gilly gets along wonderfully with her foster sibling, a female Goldendoodle. She’s respectful and easygoing around other dogs, though with smaller or male dogs, she needs slow introductions.

-Best for Families with Older Kids – Gilmore’s blindness sometimes leads to a few playful bumps here and there, so she would do best in a home with older kids who understand her limitations.

Gilmore is a special girl with so much love to give. Her foster has truly enjoyed having her, and we’re sure anyone would be lucky to call her family.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
