Leo is a gentle and affectionate pup who is sure to steal your heart. At first, he may be a little shy, but once he gets to know you, Leo opens up and shows his playful, curious side. His big brown eyes and floppy ears are absolutely irresistible, and he loves nothing more than snuggling up close to his humans for some quality cuddle time.
He is a wonderful companion for families and is especially great with kids. He’s also been a star around other dogs—both puppies and adult dogs, of all sizes, alike—making him a well-socialized and adaptable pup. While he hasn’t had much exposure to cats yet, his friendly and calm nature suggests he’d likely do well in a multi-pet home.
Training and Progress:
Leo is well on his way to being a perfect pup! He’s 85-90% potty trained and is comfortable using a puppy pad in his pen or crate. He’s also learning the ropes of basic commands like “sit” and “come,” thanks to positive reinforcement and his foster family’s guidance. He’s making great strides with crate training and loves to walk on a leash, especially when he’s out with his foster siblings. Leo also enjoys going for car rides—whether it’s a trip to the park or a quick errand, he’s always up for an adventure!
He is independent enough to enjoy some solo playtime with his favorite chew toys, but he’s also incredibly loving and enjoys being around his people. He’ll surely bring joy, affection, and plenty of snuggles into any home lucky enough to adopt him.
Applicants MUST HAVE AN ADULT DOG in the home! Your adult dog will accompany you during the meet and greet, and will help select the best match based on who gravitates toward you and your dog. Adoptions are based on connection and chemistry.
Adoption is $325 and includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
