Scarlet is a 3-year-old beagle with a heart of gold and a zest for life. She spent her early years being raised as a hunting and breeding dog, living in a concrete kennel outdoors, but now she’s ready to leave her past behind and find a loving home with greener pastures.

Though she’s a bit new to the joys of indoor life, Scarlet is quickly learning to love the comforts of a cozy couch, and she’s already showing her true, sweet personality. She enjoys exploring outdoors, sniffing around, and taking in the sights and smells, but once inside, she’s a total couch potato who loves to curl up and relax. Scarlet is also a huge fan of belly rubs and will happily roll over for a scratch whenever you’re nearby.

Scarlet is a confident girl who’s currently the dominant one over her kennel mate, so she may do best in a home with a more submissive dog who can match her energy and respect her space.
