My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Redd...he's what we call a throw-away hunting dog likely because he decided he'd rather chill than hunt this Fall. He came to Saving Webster Dogs in September 2024 as an owner surrender but we think their loss is our gain! Redd is a gorgeous, adult Redtick Coonhound that we think is around 4 to 5 years young. He has beautiful facial features, stunning ticking, and the most soulful eyes. Although a little bit shy in his kennel, Redd warms up quickly to both people and other dogs when out. He does great on a leash and demonstrates little to no scent or prey drive - a positive for households with cats, rabbits, or chickens. Do you think you have room in your heart for this discarded pup who still has lots of love to give?

Upon request, additional photos and videos of Redd interacting with people and other dogs can be made available.
