Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $650, plus tax
Location: Foster home
Denahi, lovingly nicknamed Andy, is a fuzzy ball of energy who loves to cuddle with his foster doggy sister and foster mom.
Andy is learning how to be a proper puppy. He has learned to sit when asked, most of the time. He's learning how to stay, wait until told he can eat, this is a tough one as he's always hungry, and to lay down. He has a lot to learn yet but he's very smart and eager to please.
Andy plays really hard with his foster doggy sister, loves the doggy park and is great with his cat foster brother. He also loves the little human girl next door and would love a little human of his own.
His foster mom loves him to pieces and hopes Andy will find a forever home very soon.
If you are interested in meeting Denahi (Andy), please fill out an application on the Carver Scott website!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
