If you're looking to add some sparkle to your life Abby Cadabby is your girl! She's 6 years old and weighs 35 pounds, and her foster says that she's just the best behaved gal. Abby loves meeting new people and is "calm, affectionate, and sweet as can be" with kids and new people. She's good with other dogs but mostly just wants pets from the humans around. Abby is housetrained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. What more could you want?

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
