My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Deedee, a charming 15lbs lady, ready to fill your heart with love! Found on a busy highway, she is now ready to settle into her forever home and bring joy to her family. Deedee has been spayed and is well-behaved, sleeping soundly in her kennel and rarely barking. She is familiar with a doggy door and responds well to commands, having no accidents lately. We let her outside frequently and she may dribble when approached, so we let her come to us to avoid that. Deedee gets along with cats and dogs alike, and though she needs to learn some jumping manners around little ones, she has been around kids of all ages. She would be a perfect addition to a family, especially an elderly one that is home most of the time. Her adoption fee is $500, including transportation from Arkansas to New England. Visit ArkanPaws.org to fill out an application and make Deedee a part of your family!

Go meet their pets

We have many events in the Central Arkansas area! And if you are not in the Central Arkansas area, we are more than happy to send you videos and flood you with photos of your pup. :) We operate in New England as well, and typically are there for 4-5 days out of the month. Also, please speak to the foster parent to find out anything you'd like to know. We are more than happy to connect you!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to educate the public on spaying/neutering their pets, as well as to advocate/provide safe temporary homes for displaced, neglected, or abused animals. We rehabilitate, vet, and place in permanent homes, as well as offering transport to the New England area.
