Lady is a 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart of gold. Though a bit shy at first, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate once she’s settled in. She came to our rescue from another shelter in southwest Virginia, along with her companion Sophie, and is now searching for a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years in peace.

Lady would thrive in a calm, low-stress environment, ideally with no young children. She’s not one for loud noises or chaos, but if you’re looking for a loyal and gentle friend who loves to relax in the sun and take leisurely walks, she’s the perfect match. Lady’s favorite pastimes include basking in the sunshine and going on strolls to explore her surroundings at a comfortable pace.

Though she’s a little reserved at first, once she feels safe, Lady is an incredibly sweet companion. She’s up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped soon, ready to start her new chapter.
