A little bit about Molly: - older children recommended - cats / small animals unknown - dogs okay, potential for other dog in home pending dog-to-dog
Molly is an older pup who's waiting for the right people to call her own! Because it takes her time to warm up to strangers, her new family should be prepared to go slow with her and respect her need for space. Once you've gained her trust, you'll get all of the snuggles and your lap will never be empty again! She can sometimes bark while people watching, but luckily Molly is easy to redirect and settle. One thing that her new people should know is that Molly loves her walks and loves the opportunity to go outside and explore! And having lived with other dogs before, she may do okay with a canine companion in the home. If you've got the time to dedicate towards helping Molly come out of her shell, then come say hello to her today!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
