My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Holly – Available for Adoption

Holly is a sweet cat with unlimited love to give. She was rescued from a construction site* before her home was destroyed; however, she doesn’t fault anyone for her being dumped. She’s so happy and grateful to have a warm & cozy place to stay and to have her belly full of delicious food and not garbage. Holly will start out being very shy with her new human(s). She might even hide for a period of time.

Holly spends her day napping by the window on her pink blanket and loves to watch the world go by outside, while she is safely indoors. She just likes to chill and relax and get tons of pets and kisses and loves. Holly can live peacefully with another low energy kitty but would prefer to be your one and only. Her foster can’t pick her up yet, but she believes in time, she’ll become a lap cat.

Holly also makes the most therapeutic soft purring noises when you pet her. And air biscuits. Her fur is soft fluff velvet. Holly politely asks for more pets with her paw tapping your hand. She’s just a sweet polite low key best friend kitty

Holly is approximately 5-6 years old, spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all her shots. If you are interested in meeting her, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

* A special thank you to Maria and her coworkers who cared for Holly & Spice (AKA Harold, who found himself a barn) for months before their rescue.

We are not a shelter but a rescue group. Our cats are at different foster homes. Meet & greet will be coordinated between foster homes and potential adopters once an application is in place.

More about this rescue

Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed and for strays/abandoned cats to be adopted.

We are all volunteers with full time job so please be patient if we do not respond to your request immediately. We will respond to any questions/requests within 24 hrs. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
