My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little terrier Jack is still looking for a forever home, after months in care. We didn't expect it to take this long to find him one.
Sweet, shy Jack just needs a little time to warm up, and then he'll be someone's best friend.
He's 15 pounds and only a year old.
Jack is a bashful puppy with a heart of gold. His timid nature often keeps him by the sidelines, but his kindness shines through in every wag of his tail. He finds comfort in quiet corners and gentle pats on the head. He enjoys naps in his crate, his "den" where he feels comfortable.
Jack is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, crate-trained and working on house-training. He gets along with adults, kids and other dogs. He wants to make friends with cats so they can play together, although the cats may not be impressed. He's being fostered in Las Cruces, but can be transported to the Albuquerque area or somewhere else in the general region of the state. Transportation to meet a potential adopter wouldn't obligate the person to adopt if they found it wasn't the right fit.
His sister Jill is also looking for a forever home. They can be separated.
