My name is Milo!

Milo is a 8 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix. He was surrendered to a groomer and she asked me for help in finding him a home. I am only his temorary guardian. I currently have 4 dogs and so I am not able to keep him. I have a heart for senior dogs so I love helping the seniors find homes.

Milo is a bit shy when you meet him but he warms up after a about a week. He growled at me the first time he saw me but since I have had him a week he has not growled. He takes a treat from my hand very gently and he has let me rub his ears and back. He will go into his crate when necessary. He loves toys and going for walks. He is a lot more social with men. I was given his vet records but he has not seen a vet since 2021. I got him a rabies/distemper shot on 10/30.

Milo is tolerating my dogs but he is not great with my blind dog. He ignores my cats and the neighbors chickens. However my neighbor to the right has a big dog and he runs and barks at the big dog.
