MEET DONOVAN - Lots of personality! Watch her videos!

This striking black and white kitty came to us with some of her pals from a house with lots of other kitties. Donovan is frequently front and center looking for attention - watch her videos! While she`s eager for meet and greets, here at the shelter she is nervous and she likes to call the shots; she will move away if she`s had enough pets. Donovan is very playful and active - she loves to explore and be a busy-body. As you can see from her third video, she`s also a big fan of a catnip bath! She Come meet this perky, bright-eyed girl in Dedham; she will keep you entertained with her goofy, kitten-level antics!

Donovan is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is committed to matching adoptable animals with a permanent home. Our conversation-based, application-free adoption process is designed so that the needs of both the animal and the adopter are understood and compatible with one another. We require the following as part of the adoption process:
* Adopter must be 18 years of age or older
* A current government-issued ID (no student IDs)
* Have a conversation with an ARL adoption counselor
* A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.

The 27-acre property serves as ARL’s main livestock center and is home to Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
