My name is Averi!

Averi was rescued from a shelter in Eastern Tennessee in Feb 2024. I was told he was full grown at 39 pounds. He has reached 56 pounds at 16 months of age and I am relocating to an environment that is too small for him.

Averi is loving, smart, and teachable. He sits, shakes, lays down and drops it on command. He will be best suited as the the only dog, or with older dogs his size or larger. He is naturally gentle, but plays hard when he's overstimulated.


He needs regular exercise and hard, bright colored chew toys. He will leave your belongings alone if he is consistently taught what is yours, and he always has what he needs of his own.

Averi is currently leash training and LOVES running around the yard. He has been loose, does not stray far, and returns to me promptly. He loves everyone he meets instantly.

Extremely sweet boy can come home to you with a nice collar, vaccination records, and contact information to change his microchip data.
