Unfortunately, Kylie came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive, but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for her at no additional cost to you! While she is undergoing heartworm treatment Kylie will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give them a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high, and the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like her to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter.
