My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pisces and his sibling Aquarius have been in foster care, and their horoscopes say that great things are on the way! Yes, adoption! Their foster says they both were gentle with the 4-month-old baby and would sit next to him during nap time and did not mind being touched by baby. They also followed around their 16-year-old and slept on her bed. Just too cute for words! The two kittens are close and play together all the time. Pisces is more playful than his sibling.
He sometimes forgets personal space and will sometimes jump on you and sleep on face. He's very loving as well. If you're thinking about adopting multiple kittens, Pisces' sibling Aquarius would be the purrfect match. Why not double your fun?

If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of three ways:

Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.

**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
Check out the video (above, with the pictures) for top tips on how to bring a kitten like this home with you and integrate them into your home!

All kitten adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age)
-current on distemper vaccines (will need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
