My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sprinkles is a sweet, quirky kitty with a playful spirit and a gentle approach to life. She's a gal with specific tastes-she has not yet met kids but may prefer the company of older, calm kids. She might be okay with a calm, cat-friendly dog but hasn't tried it yet. Sprinkles has a knack for making friends with other kitties, though! She and the 12-year-old resident cat start each day with a game of tag, then chase toys tossed around the house, and they even nap together on the couch.

She's a bit cautious with new people and prefers to keep her distance until they're gone, but once it's just you and her, she'll be right by your side, rubbing against your legs and playfully batting at your feet. Don't expect a lap cat just yet, but she'll happily sleep at the foot of the bed and loves being carried down the hall like the queen she is!

Sprinkles adores her springy toys and catnip mice-she'll even meow for you to toss them so she can practice her almost-fetch! Her ideal home includes a three-tiered cat tree with a perfect window view to watch the world go by, complete with twitching whiskers and excited little nose wiggles.

If you're ready to go slow, give her some space, and enjoy her one-of-a-kind personality, Sprinkles will reward you with the cutest little breakthroughs. She's waiting to make the right human connection and might just surprise you with her next move!

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
