My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Venus! She is a 47lb, 3 year old Shepherd mix. She would love nothing more than to give you puppy dog eyes and love on you. She is a hugger, so no kids under 6, as she could easily knock a little one over. She does well with older kids. She also will need a home with no cats. She is working on house training, she has made huge progress in her foster home. She does really well in her crate, and loves to play with other dogs. She has not met a stranger, and just wants to hug and get pets from everyone she meets. She is a sweetheart. She knows sit and does well on leash. She is super food motivated, and very smart. Venus is a HIGH energy dog, she will need a fenced in yard and/or a very active family to keep up with her. Once she has had a good hike, or run, she settles in and wants to snuggle.
