My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Weezy! fka Louisiana.

Her amazing personality caught our attention while saving a few other dogs at Harris County. Like so many others, she was on the euthanasia list simply due to time and space at the shelter. Weezy is such a sweetheart and loves other dogs. We think she is around 2-3 years old and a lab / shepherd mix with stunning, big brown eyes! She’s a little shy at first, and does the cutest little low crawl walk until she gets comfortable. We would love to learn more about Weezy with the help of a foster home. Fosters help us get to know our dogs better when they can thrive in a more comfortable, quiet environment. Weezy seems like such a laid back girl who can adapt to any environment! Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
