Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My dog's name is Tyson, a 4-year-old pit mix, weighing around 50-60 pounds. We rescued him as a stray in Feb 2020, estimated at 3 months old then. Tyson is good with other dogs of all sizes and has been around kids as young as 7-8 years, with no history of aggression. He barks at cats but hasn't lived with one.
Tyson is laid-back, easily entertained, and especially loves buckets! He knows basic commands and does okay on a leash but is used to running on our property. He's very friendly, so he wouldn't make a great watchdog.
He's healthy, takes joint supplements, and is microchipped. Tyson would thrive in a home with a yard or an active family.
I've done everything I could to keep him, even going six months without hot water. But my family lost our home, and his current foster can't take him along. Tyson deserves a loving, permanent home, and I hope to find him one.
