Hi, I’m Liam! I’m a 10-week-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix, and if I do say so myself, I might just be the most handsome pup you’ll ever meet. My foster mom thinks I’m going to grow up to be a big boy—just look at the size of my paws!
I’m full of energy and love to spend my days playing with my brother. Running, jumping, and exploring the yard are some of my favorite things, especially if I can find a good stick or tree branch to chew on. Toys are also a big deal for me—I just can’t get enough of them! When I’m not in play mode, I’m usually taking a well-deserved nap to recharge.
I’m a pretty smart pup, too! I’m almost completely potty trained, and I’m learning fast. My foster mom keeps a potty pad indoors just in case, but I’m great at using the doggie door to head outside. At night, I sleep in a puppy pen in the kitchen with my brother and do very well in a crate for a few hours at a time, especially if I have a chew treat to keep me company. Sometimes I cry when I’m left alone or can’t be near my humans, but I’m getting braver every day.
I love being around dogs of all sizes, although I haven’t met any cats yet. I’m sure with a slow introduction, I could get along with a kitty friend, too! My dream is to find a forever family who will love me as much as I’ll love them. And wouldn’t it be amazing to be home just in time for the holidays?
