We are mostly foster based for our adoptable pets. Our Sanctuary does not currently have hours open to the public. The husband and wife that operate the Sanctuary also work other jobs to help feed and care for the sweet souls in their care.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit, no-kill organization that was founded in 2008 by two selfless and compassionate people that wanted a safe and secure place for any animal that deserved a loving forever home.

As of 2024, we currently have 160 animals that will live here in a loving and safe environment for the rest of their lives. We are known for taking the worst of the worst regarding behavioral issues, such as bite history and major medical cases that no other rescues would consider taking on. Amazingly they have all come to be very gentle and loving souls, they get along with each other and have found their place within their ranks.

As of September 2024, we are working with some dedicated rescue people from Armstrong County and are adopting out some felines and canines.

We have a broad variety of animals that we are blessed with each day; our goat Ruby, who was set to be slaughtered due to her disabilities is now thriving; dogs from abusive and horrid situations; cats from abandoned and careless situations; horses saved from slaughter and neglect; ducks from presents for kids tossed out for growing up; chickens and a rooster from the Bronx of NYC; 2 obese, unhealthy pigs recently from Kittanning, PA all now living a healthy and safe life here at the Sanctuary!
