My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:7/27/2024

Description:

Born to a feral mama cat on the grounds of St. Vincent DePaul, Sparky and his sister, Sizzle, have come a long way from shy, scared, babies to exuberant, adventurous, tackle-the-world kittens. Once they get to know you, the shyness is gone and they are in your lap, on your shoulder, and tackling your feet.

Sparky shows signs of being a large cat if the size of his feet is any predictor. Sizzle, on the other hand, is petite and ladylike. But size with her is deceptive. She is a scrappy, fierce little thing and she tussles with her brother as an equal.

Both kittens have medium length fur. Sparky is charcoal tabby with white paws and markings. Sizzle is a unique combination of black, gray, and white. She has an orange dot on top of her head and orange shading in the middle of her back. She’s a combination of tabby and tortie.

These kittens have been raised with love. They have hearty appetites (he’s a definite piglet) and they need plenty of fresh water available. Their litterbox habits are consistently good. They eat Nulo kibble and enjoy Fancy Feast canned food once a day.

Words to Describe Me: Shy to start, but warms quickly. Very affectionate.

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
