Meet Buck!
Buck joined our shelter on November 4, 2024, and it was quite the adventure! During his 40-minute drive from the vet, this little gentleman was a bit anxious and vocal—understandable when you’re headed to a new place! Once he arrived at the shelter, though, Buck began to relax. After a quick exploration and a masterful use of the doggie door, he enjoyed a snack, a drink, and settled in for a well-deserved rest.
We’re happy to report that Buck is up-to-date on all his vaccines and has tested negative for Lyme disease. He’s a terrier mix with an entertaining personality and a loving, ornery streak that’s balanced by his sensitivity to voice-tone corrections—he’s easy to manage and very tuned in to his human companions. Buck gets along well with other dogs and is polite around cats. He’s not one for excessive barking, but he will join the other dogs in an alert chorus when the doorbell rings.
Buck is now looking for a warm, safe home where he can continue to thrive. Could that be with you?
