Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT JAKE! 🐾
Meet Jake! 🐾 This adorable kitty has boundless energy and a true passion for play. He’s always ready for action, darting around the house and leaping after feather toys like he’s on a mission. 🪶 Jake loves to be in the company of his siblings, joining in every game and leading their adventures. Together, they make quite the lively bunch!
While Jake’s a little shy at first in new situations, he’s got a gentle heart and a curious nature that helps him warm up over time. 💖 He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he has his own charming ways of connecting with his humans. You’ll often find him quietly following you from room to room, keeping a watchful eye as you go about your day. Once he’s comfortable, he absolutely adores being petted, purring contentedly as he snuggles up by your side. His foster mom says she finds him quite amusing because he begs for her to pet him and hisses at the same time. She says it’s his way of talking to her and that he can’t resist wanting some loves!
If you’re looking to win over Jake’s heart, bring out his favorite – Churu treats! 🍣 He can’t resist their tasty goodness and will be your best friend if you come bearing treats. With a little patience, this sweet, playful boy will settle in and be a wonderful companion. 🏡
** Jake MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee! His siblings Molly, Rosy and Beau are available too!) He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a patient family who will give him lots of love, attention, time to adjust and playtime. **
Jake does great with other cats after proper introductions. He is familiar with dogs, but he isn’t the biggest fan of them right now. Because he doesn’t enjoy being picked up, he would be best in a home without children. He is litter boxed trained.
Jake is ready for a loving home where he can be his lively, affectionate self, bringing joy and plenty of action to your life! Are you ready for a spirited, loyal friend like Jake? 🥰

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
