Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT JAKE! 🐾
Jake is a charming and playful boy with a heart full of curiosity and love! This feather fanatic 🪶 is happiest when chasing toys or zooming around the house with his siblings, showing off his playful side. Whether it’s a feather wand or a game of tag, Jake is always ready to bring the fun! 🎉
But don’t let his playful energy fool you—Jake is also a master of relaxation. When he’s done with his adventures, he loves to lounge around and soak up the quiet moments. His mellow side makes him the perfect balance of energy and chill. 😌
Jake is a curious little guy who adores his humans and loves to quietly observe everything they do. Whether you’re cooking, reading, or just hanging out, Jake will be right there, taking it all in and keeping you company. 🐱❤️
He is a bit shy in new situations and will need time to adjust to his new surroundings, so he’s looking for a patient and understanding family who can help him feel safe and loved. With a little time and care, Jake will blossom into your most loyal companion. 💕 Jake may not be the biggest fan of being picked up, but he’ll happily curl up in your lap, purring contentedly as he soaks up all the snuggles and love he can get.
** Jake MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee! His siblings Molly, Rosy and Beau are available too!) He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a patient family who will give him lots of love, attention, time to adjust and playtime. **
Jake does well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. He does well with gentle children who would respect his boundaries of not picking him up and he is litter boxed trained.
If you’re ready to give this playful yet laid-back kitty the forever home he deserves, Jake is ready to meet you and fill your days with joy and love! 🐾✨

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
