My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little fireball will be sure to bring some life to your home. She loves to play, can be a little spicy if she wants to be, but can also we as sweet as apple pie too. She is very friendly and will be a great addition to any home. She does not necessarily have to be placed with her sister, but would do best in a home with an already established male cat that is social and friendly, a guy that could show her the ropes. She has been exposed to dogs and to kids and did well with both. If you are interested in meeting her we ask that you please email to obtain an application at adoption@columbiahumane.org Once you have approved applicaiton on file, we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her.

1.
Submit Application

We ask that prior to arrival at the shelter you please either call or email for further details and to get an application for the pet.

2.
Meet the Pet

When you appointment time has been set, we will have you come and meet your pet.

3.
Take the Pet Home

If all goes well the pet can go home with you the same day.

Additional adoption info

Cats $150.00

All cat adoption fees include leukemia testing, spaying or neutering, entire series of vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at any local Columbia County Veterinarian, a complimentary adoption take-home packet and a carrier.

Puppies (under 6 months of age)................................$350.00

Dogs (over 7 months of age).......................................$250.00

All dog adoption fees include , spaying or neutering, current on vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at participating local Columbia County Veterinarian, complimentary take-home adoption packet and a leash and collar.

All adoptions must be reviewed prior to approval. In order to ensure that every dog and cat goes to the appropriate home, Columbia Humane Society reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption application for any reason they see fit. A home check may be performed in order to determine suitability. Columbia Humane Society's kennels are not open to the public, all applications must be filled out prior to meeting with a pet.
