My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT BEAU! 🐾

Beau is a kitty with boundless energy and a heart full of affection, always ready to make every day a little brighter! This lively boy is super playful and loves a good feather toy session—if it flutters, wiggles, or dangles, Beau is on it 🪶. He will keep you entertained as he zooms around, chasing his toys with enthusiasm and determination!

He’s also a curious little shadow who adores following his humans around the house. Whether you’re cooking, reading, or just moving from room to room, Beau wants to be right there with you, watching your every move with wide-eyed wonder 👀.

While he loves company, Beau has a sensitive side, too. He may take a bit of time to settle into new situations and can be a little shy at first. He’s not the biggest fan of being picked up just yet, but he’s working on his confidence and warms up quickly when offered a few Churu treats (his absolute favorite!) 🐟💕. Once he feels safe, Beau’s affectionate side shines through—he’ll happily curl up in your lap, purring contentedly as he soaks up all the snuggles and love he can get 🥰.

** Beau MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee! His siblings Molly, Rosy and Jake are available too!) He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a patient family who will give him lots of love, attention, time to adjust and playtime. **

Beau does great with other cats after proper introductions. He is familiar with dogs, but he isn’t the biggest fan of them right now. Because he doesn’t enjoy being picked up, he would be best in a home without children. He is litter boxed trained.

If you're looking for an active, curious, and affectionate companion who’ll bring playfulness and warmth into your home, Beau might just be the purrfect fit! 🐱💖 Will you be the one to give Beau his forever home?

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
