Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Layla Jean is available for adoption! I have fostered her for about a month and she is now ready to find her forever home.
Layla is about 5 years old; and is very sweet and energetic with no known medical issues.
Layla has separation anxiety and would do very well in an active home with fur friends. She gets along amazingly well with my four other dogs and has no problem taking correction from the pack leader. She has been cat and kid tested - and tolerates both.
She is currently free feeding and does not over eat and shows no signs of treat or food aggression.
She loves tug of war, and chewing on her chew toys. She is house broken and does not seem interested in destroying my furniture. We are working on her manners - she does bark at people when they come to the door, recall needs to be worked on, and she jumps up to greet people.
Biggest (and only complaint) is she steals the covers! Like literally, she climbs into bed, burrows under the covers and steals them.
