My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bud is a cuddly, sweet girl who adores being held! She loves watching TikToks while snuggled up in your arms. She is always the first to curl up in your lap when you sit down, and she even enjoys grooming your hair if given the chance! Bud loves screens- she will follow along with your favorite show with you while lounging on the couch.

Bud would do well in any household that provides her plenty of space to climb and play. She thrives on cuddles and would appreciate owners who are home often so she can make sure to get her lap time in. Due to her young age she will need to be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another young cat for her to play with. Bud would especially love to be adopted with one of her siblings! She has been around children and done wonderful with them! We think she could even acclimate to a home with a dog if given a patient and supervised introduction.

This little girl loves to play! Don't be surprised if she suddenly bursts into a fit of zoomies or a WWE match with one of her siblings, Sprout or Daisy! She is a kitten of course! She loves mouse toys and laser wands and will play with them for hours if you let her.Bud is easily distinguishable from her siblings due to her lighter, almost brown undercoat and her captivating big eyes just one look from her can turn you into a puddle of happiness!

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
