My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  06/08/20

This most handsome man is Noodles. He is four years old, weighs 14 lbs and is a very good boy. Noodles was found living outside and it is thought he was once someone's pet, but he had been left to fend for himself for quite some time. Over the past few months Noodles has adjusted wonderfully to being 100% indoors. He has never marked anywhere, always properly uses his litter pans, and hasn't scratched at any of the furniture.

Noodles will take some time to get used to new people and sounds. He would greatly benefit from a quiet 'home base' where he can get acclimated to the new environment at his own pace and retreat there if he feels nervous or scared. This could be an unused room or someone's bedroom. Once Noodles has bonded with you, he will follow you around the house, head bonk and rub on your legs (even while you are walking and you might trip on him), stick his curious face in everything you're doing, and snuggle up next to you on the couch when you're done.

Noodles is a vocal guy with a deep purr like a panther. He talks by rolling his R's and meows when he is lonely or needs something. When he is super happy, Noodles trills and drools and makes lots of biscuits. He loves watching out the windows, especially if they are open and he can smell the fresh air. He also enjoys chasing his jingle balls and catnip mice all over the house, playing in his crunchy tunnel, and trying to catch toys on strings.

If you have the right home for Noodles, apply to adopt him today!

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
