My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dario-think mini shepherd. He is the most gentle and affectionate pup you'll ever encounter! With his soft, light brown fur and striking black-lined eyes, he's a real heart-stealer. Dario is the ultimate lap dog, always eager for belly rubs, snuggles, and a good nap. He’s a laid-back guy who enjoys munching on strawberries, playing with frisbee rings, and soaking up attention. He is fostered with several other dogs and gets along great with everyone. At around 29 lbs, Dario is the perfect medium-sized companion. Dario would love to explore some hiking trails, and keep your spot on the couch warm during Netflix & chill at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving dog to brighten your days, Dario is your guy!
Dario is in foster care in South Texas and will be transported to the PNW whenever he has a home waiting. Neuter, microchip, and current vaccines all included in his adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt
