My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

๐ŸŒฟ Name: Louis
๐ŸŒฟ Age: 3 years old
๐ŸŒฟ Weight: 13kg
๐ŸŒฟ a neutered little prince!

๐ŸŒฟ People Interaction: It depends!
Calm and patient people: ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
Familiar people (after 2+ meetings): ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
First-time meeting: ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
Loud, big gestures people: ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹

๐ŸŒฟ Dog Interaction: ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
Calm with low-energy dogs, playful with energetic dogs. He loves doggy friends! Heโ€™s good at cleaning his friendsโ€™ ears, and if they donโ€™t like it, he patiently waits for them.

๐ŸŒฟ At Home: ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
Absolutely no mess or barking!
No separation anxiety, and he only goes all business outside. Perfecrly crate trained. Crate is his cozy home for him. He loves resting on low cushions and is not picky with food, though if he eats too many treats, he gets a little breakout, so we give him kibble as snacksโ€”he eats it happily like a treat!

๐ŸŒฟ Walks Like a Pro!! ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
He walks well on a leash and isnโ€™t scared of car noises. Confident on familiar paths and great at going up and down stairs. If something surprises him (like a big trash bin), he lowers his body and does a cute little swim motion with his paws to avoid going near it! ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐ŸŒฟ Grooming/Hygiene/Vet Visits: ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
He may not love it, but he allows it! Itโ€™s important for his person to stay close to keep him calm.

๐ŸŒฟ The Perfect Home for Louis:
Someone who truly has a patient with heart, so Louis approaches at his own pace. Louis has been in a second foster home for a month and has made incredible progressโ€”he gets better day by day!

๐ŸŒฟ Rescue Story:
Louis entered a shelter with his mother when he was around 2-3 months old. Due to his shy personality and being a Jindo mix, he never received any adoption inquiries. He got many skin cuts on his leg at the shelter last year, and he got a 6-month foster home to recover and to have experience with people. After returning to the shelter, Louis, who had experienced the warmth of a home, didnโ€™t want to go back to the kennel and resisted entering it. Anyway, after enduring nearly 3 years in the shelter, Louis was finally rescued!!
