Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Back in November 2020 we pulled two little tuxedo kittens from the shelter: Bernardo & Maria. They were adopted together and seemingly doing well until we received an e-mail the other day that the siblings were no longer getting along and they wanted to return Bernardo to us as he apparently was the aggressor towards the other one (stalking and chasing behaviors). He has been medically cleared by his former vet and ours within the past two weeks so no issues there.
Bernardo is understandably very stressed and upset by this big life change and has really retreated into himself while boarding at our vet as we don't have any foster homes with free space at the moment. He is a sweet cat underneath it all though. If you are at all interested in fostering this boy (must be local), or adopting him, please reach out! Considering why he is back with us, he most likely needs to be an only cat. We can see with time with us if he shows any interest in other cats (he's in the same room as Jenga and Twister so he can currently see them playing & smell them) but most likely he will do best as an only cat. Bonus baby photos of Bernardo!
Adopt Bernardo!
