My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy was found during a softball tournament with no tag and a collar that was way too tight.
He very tentatively approached teams between games hoping to find something to eat as he was very
skinny. Once his trust was gained, he never left the softball teams side and even followed the team to
the dugout for game time! Once he started doing that, his foster family knew they couldn’t leave him
behind and brought him to their home to get to know him better and get him on a happier path going
forward.

Arloe is as big a snugglebug as you can imagine. He loves being next to you on a couch soaking up the
attention and chest rubs. At almost 1-year old, he is still a puppy, a big strong puppy, personal space is
one of the things he is still learning…..at his pace. He is great with kids and other dogs! He is mostly
house trained with only a couple of accidents early in the transition. He learned to use a doggy door very
quickly. He loves to play several times a day with his foster sister (3 yr old dog). Arlo is not food
aggressive, but he is food motivated. He learned to sit very quickly when waiting for breakfast and
dinner. He does still have a bit of his street dog scavenger in him as he has grabbed a few morsels off the counter, but he is getting better at not doing that. He has also done well in a crate with no accidents.
One issue he had was riding in the backseat of a truck seemed to stress him a bit one time. He has
traveled with no issues in the back of a minivan. He also has a very clean bill of health with all shots up
to date.

Overall, he’s just a big ol’ sweetheart. He’s goofy,
