My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : Ida Mae loves to observe, whether it is the world outside or the dryer spinning. She also like to practice hunting with her favourite toy.
My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): Ida Mae has only met one dog, but it was not a good experience for her. She would probably warm up to a small, low energy dog, but is unlikely to pair well with a high-energy, bigger-than-her fur friend.
My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): A nice window sill to bird-watch from, a nice soft blankie to knead (this is a must!) & a cat tree or perch to make her own
Good with cats?: Yes
Good with dogs?: Unknown, No
Good with children?: Yes
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Unsure
Temperament: Independent
Ideal type of household?: Medium activity, Low activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days
Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Ida Mae was orphaned with her siblings as a wee baby & has had to overcome many challenges to grow into the pretty girl she is. She is quiet & slight, very friendly, and quick to warm up to new people & new surroundings, but not a fan of big, rowdy dogs (maybe a small one or a gentle giant though). Ida Mae loves snuggling with the resident cats, but at night prefers her own nest (on the bed of course!). She has a big purr & loves cuddles, but is not clingy - she is great at entertaining herself, playing with her toys, watching the dryer spin, or napping on the couch.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
