My name is Georgie!

Georgie is a SWEET almost 1-yr old I rescued 7 months ago. Super smart (trainable) and playful, but mellow around the house. She is about 43 lbs total mutt mix (19 breeds) Not really growing much. She LOVES to play with other dogs at the dog park - but she plays rough. She's a good car traveler, likes hiking and going places with her person or hanging our at home. She is great with kids. She doesn't like being left alone more than 1-2 hrs - but would likely get used to longer as she gets older. She would love a home with a yard to play and run and with more than one person to give her attention and spend more time with her training and playing. She has a strong hunter instinct so goes after cats (and small dogs, chickens, bunnies squirrels etc). She is fine with SOME other dogs at home, but not others - she guards her food and is dominant and feisty with some. Ideally a family or couple with one around a lot of time, no other animals at home, and space to play.
