My name is Buttercup!

Buttercup was adopted as a kitten in spring 2018, along with her littermate Midnight (also listed here). If someone would be willing and able to adopt them together, that would be wonderful! They have always lived together.

Buttercup is a tortoiseshell kitty, almost 10 pounds. She is on the reclusive side, but sweet. I think it is very possible that in a new environment, with someone devoted to loving on her and paying attention to her, she would come out of her shell a bit more. Or if you like a very low-maintenance cat, she could be perfect for you!

Her person has recently moved into assisted living, and for various reasons cannot take the cats with him. For the time being I am visiting the house (which hasn't been sold yet) and taking care of the cats, but they need a new "forever home."
