Why I need a new home

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is 6.5 years old. She was adopted as a kitten in spring 2018 along with her littermate, Buttercup (also listed here). if anyone would be able and willing to adopt them together, that would be wonderful! They have always lived together.

Midnight is a small black cat, about 7 pounds. She is usually pretty social and chatty, and she likes attention. She is low maintenance, no special medical needs, and she's friendly. I think she would adapt well to almost any new situation.

Her person has recently moved into assisted living and for various reasons cannot take the cats with him. For the time being, I am visiting the house (which hasn't been sold yet) and taking care of the cats, but they need a new "forever home."
