Little Blaze came to Fuzzy Pawz when he was not doing well at the shelter after being taken from a hoarding situation. Since being in his foster home he is slowly accepting humans, is eating well, and loves to play with the other dogs and toys in his foster home.
He is energetic, outgoing, and friendly with other dogs of all sizes. He is still leery of humans but is coming around and not as shy and skittish. Blaze still needs to be socialized to learn the world so that he grows confident and ready to take on the world one doggy kiss at a time.
In his foster home he follows the other dogs outside to do his business but still needs some housetraining.
Blaze would probably do best in a home with another playful dog or a home that would take him
on outings to meet other dogs on a regular basis. He has a lot of puppy energy so lots of
exercise and mental stimulation will keep some of that energy in check. Due to his small size
and his shyness with humans, we do not recommend children under 12 in his future home.
Foster Location: Boise ID
Age: 5-7 months old
Breed: Cavalier mix
Neutered, Vaccinated, microchipped

More about this rescue
We are a group of animal lovers banded together to rescue unwanted dogs and cats that are in shelters and pounds located throughout Idaho. Our non-profit rescue places each animal into our foster home program while we search for forever homes for them. We supply all vet care, food, toys, bedding; really anything they need while in our care.
We focus on those animals that are considered “hard to adopt” for various reasons; like kennel stress, having a black coat, being over 8 years old, etc. Often a foster home rather than a shelter environment helps give many of these animals a second chance at the life they deserve!
We relay on community donations and individuals willing to be foster care givers in order to continue our work.
