My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello-

Spock is my 19-year-old daughter’s dog.
She was training him from the time we rescued him from the shelter over six months ago.
And she was doing a great job.

But she has had mental health issues several years now.
Animals are one of the things that keep her “grounded“.

Unfortunately, she has been struggling more severely in the last few months
And has had to enter a full “residential“ mental health facility.

Spock is about 1 1/2 years old. 65 pounds.
He was very wary and had not been in a home when we got him,
but he is now potty trained, trained for several commands (including basics; sit, lay down, stay and heel)
He is very food and toy motivated, and is also loves to fetch.
He is very good with other dogs and people. And kids.
He has a sweet heart. He wants to please.

But with my 19-year-old out of the picture, it is too overwhelming for me to have all three dogs to care for.
So I’m looking to find Spock a great new home.
