Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Appaloosa and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 1 year old female Pointer mix who is eager for a new home! I was transferred here from an overcrowded shelter in Fresno. I love meeting people and showing off how confident I am. I'm very intelligent and learn cues pretty quick as I am extremely treat motivated- I know sit, shake, and down. I would benefit from an active household if you are looking for a hiking buddy, beach run buddy, or camping adventures! I will also benefit from basic manners training to help me navigate our daily lives together!

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

When you arrive, please stop by the front desk to meet with a counselor. Visitors are accompanied by staff or volunteers to keep our animals comfortable and minimize their stress.
