Maya is a delightful tortie girl with a half black/half orange face, who was born in mid-July 2024.

Maya is the most independant of her siblings (brother Mango and sister Marika). While she will wrestle and chase with the others, she spends a lot of time perched on the tower, ruling over her siblings, and people. She would be fine as a single kitten in a home with someone home most of the time to keep her company.

She is affectionate, and likes to be petted, and brushed, when its her idea. When she choses you, you feel extra special - she’s “that girl”, and lives up to the “tortitude” stereotype. When she is in the mood, she is a purr factory!

Maya is obsessed with crinkle balls, and will growl while carrying them around. She likes to pretend she is hunting birds, and loves to be at the window, watching them. She is bold around the dogs, and has no problem swatting at even the 60 lb one when he is annoying her!

Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested.
