My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paedyn is a 10-year-old female Pomeranian, currently weighing 6 pounds, though she should ideally weigh closer to 7 pounds. She came into our rescue after being found abandoned with 11 other dogs, left in poor condition after their owner passed away. When she arrived, Paedyn was dealing with several health issues, including a broken jaw that cannot be repaired, meaning she will need to eat wet food for the rest of her life. She also had an inguinal hernia, which has been repaired as part of her medical care. Paedyn has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested for heartworms, ensuring she is on the path to better health.

Paedyn is a very low-energy senior who spends most of her time relaxing and snuggling. She is quiet, never barks, and loves to be close to her person, making her an ideal companion for someone looking for a laid-back, affectionate dog. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids, and would fit perfectly in a calm and caring home.

Paedyn is currently with a foster in Houston, TX, and her adoption fee is $250.

More about this rescue

Pom Squad Rescue is dedicated to the elimination of the euthanasia of healthy, treatable, and surrendered Pomeranians and other small dogs from shelters, owners, and veterinarian clinics. The rescue will ensure that appropriate veterinarian care including spay, neuter, microchip and general health screening is completed on all rescued dogs. Pom Squad Rescue is an all volunteer based rescue that relies on foster homes to house rescued pets while waiting for their adopted home. The rescue will maintain the care of all rescued dogs in the foster homes while evaluating the applications of potential adopters. Volunteers for the Pom Squad Rescue will conduct fund raising activities in order to support the care for the rescued animals.
