My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, beautiful souls!
Meet Tracy, the grooviest 1.5-year-old girl around, with a heart as golden as the sunshine.
This lovebug has been hanging with us for **138 days**, and she’s ready to spread peace, love, and tail wags in her forever home.
Tracy’s all about good vibes—she loves going for walks, snuggling with her unicorn stuffy, flashing that radiant smile for pictures , and sharing kisses that’ll melt your heart.
Now, this cosmic pup isn’t down with cats, and we’re still figuring out how she feels about little humans. When it comes to other dogs, she’s selective but will totally groove with the right companion.
Come catch Tracy’s positive energy at the Giles County Animal Shelter, and let’s find her the forever home she’s been dreaming of.

More about this shelter

It is our mission to inform our community of the state laws and city ordinances in place for vaccinations, tethering/chaining, and sheltering needs. Any dog impounded by our shelter can be reclaimed by his rightful owner during a 72 hour hold period. If the dog brought in has any type of identification we will make reasonable effort to contact the owner and the hold period will be 5 business days. Once the hold period is up, all healthy/adoptable dogs will be put up for adoption or sent to a registered 501(c)3 rescue. Please LIKE and SHARE our page to see incoming dogs!
